A private professional institute

Practice the medicine you trained for.

Healthopia Institute trains and certifies licensed clinicians in evidence-based, preventive brain health — and connects them with patients who are looking for exactly that.

Prevention is medicine. This is how it is practiced.

A substantial share of dementia risk at the population level is associated with factors that are modifiable: vascular risk, sleep, physical activity, diet, hearing, mood, social and cognitive engagement. That association is well documented. It is also routinely overstated.

Randomized multidomain lifestyle intervention has shown modest benefit on composite cognitive test batteries. It has not been shown to prevent, treat, or reverse dementia in an individual patient, and no honest program should imply otherwise. We publish what the evidence does not yet show alongside what it does.

What is actionable today is a structured, repeatable way to assess these domains, to prioritize them, and to support behavior change between visits — delivered by a licensed clinician who retains full clinical judgment. That is what the Institute trains and certifies.
